Wondering how can you do to better your chances of getting the home of your dreams in a multiple offer situation? If you’re asking yourself that question, stick around because in this video I’m going to share with you 5 Ways to Win in a Multiple Offer Situation.

Before you abandon your dream home or bid way above your budget, here are 5 Ways to Win in a Multiple Offer Situation.

Get Pre-Qualified

Be sure to get pre-qualified so that you know exactly how much you can (and can’t) afford. And then, with your offer, submit a copy of your pre-approval letter and your deposit check. This is going to give the seller confidence in your offer because it communicates to them that you are indeed a serious buyer.

Make an Unconditional Offer

Most sellers will usually take the path of least resistance, which will be the offer without conditions. So if possible, submit an unconditional offer.

Get Your Inspection Done First

Get your inspection done beforehand. Doing this before making your offer is also going to make the sellers feel more confident in your offer.

Create a Video or Write a Letter

Homeowners are emotionally attached to their homes. They take great pride in every room, every upgrade, and feature and want their home to go to someone who will love it just as much as they do. So consider creating a short video, or write a letter (include a photo), explaining how much you want their home and why it’s your dream home.

Know Your Top Dollar

Buying a home can be emotional so knowing your top dollar is crucial. If you don’t, you could run the risk of paying more than you really wanted. And be sure to run these numbers by your lender to make sure the bank will support you going say 104% over the asking price
